Please post your game log to https://paste.replaymod.com/ (give it a minute before you close the game to be sure it is actually stuck) and then link to it here.

That depends on the launcher and/or game version you're using. Just look for the words "Game Log" or similar in the launcher or check the "logs" folder in your ".minecraft" folder for files which are updated whenever you start Minecraft.

That log's exceptionally short. Could you look for other logs? The fml-client-latest.log (for Forge) or the latest.log (for Fabric) files in the logs folder usually contain more info.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for.
I think I know what's going on here and how to fix it.
It's probably specific to 1.8, so, until it's fixed (I'll probably look into it on the weekend), if you don't need to use 1.8 specifically, you should be able to work around the issue by using another Minecraft version or just don't use the pause/resume/start/stop feature.

Thing is that it dont works on 1.8.9 too

    • Developer

Alright, I'll keep that in mind when fixing it. The part which contains the bug is version-specific and no one had reported it for 1.8.9 yet, so given the distribution of RM users I just assumed it'd only be 1.8.

No, that bug shouldn't be related to the launcher you're using. I can reproduce it on my machine as well, I just haven't tested the 1.8(.9) versions of the RM recently and you're the first one to report that issue.

Ah okay,i found 2 more things. On server "Arcon" i can save, but on vanity etc i cant.
2nd thing is that when im recording and i press X(close minecraft) when im getting back in minecraft it asks me if i want to recover this file, and then i cant watch this replay
