At the moment the render location defaults to the minecraft folder in appdata, Is there any way of saving a different path, as doing it for every render is a pain. Any help would be appreciated :3

There should be an option for it in one of the config files in the config folder inside your .minecraft folder. I can't quite remember which one it is, just search for "replay_videos" and you should find it.

Thank you, I've found the config file, however I can't seem to add the path correctly. I tried changing it to my video folder in the C drive, and instead it made a folder named C still within the .minecraft folder.

What did you change it to? afaict "c:/some/path" should work

I changed it to C:/user/username/Video/Render
Upon investigation it made the folder chain within the .minecraft folder, reverting the config to its original state didn't do anything either. Maybe the version is a bit buggy with the config file?
