Replay Mod Rules

The Rules every user has to follow when using the Replay Mod Forums and Replay Center.

All members of the Replay Mod community are expected to be familiar with these rules as they will be enforced evenly and without bias in every situation which is brought to the attention of the administration regardless of the membership status of the user in question.
Forum Rules
  1. This is an English forum, therefore all threads and replies have to be written in English. Threads and posts which are not in English will be removed.
  2. Threads are to be posted in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum have their threads moved with a friendly warning.
  3. Users should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning and possible further action.
  4. Users need to be aware that popular YouTubers use the Replay Mod and its subsidiary services. Please refrain from spamming their profiles or making their stay here unpleasant in any way.
  5. Users are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in the rules, they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned.
  6. Users should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
  7. Users are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. will not be tolerated.
  8. Users should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. This also includes ensuring that large portions of text are contained within spoiler tags.
  9. Users should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.
  10. Users should use an appropriate, descriptive subject when posting a new topic. Examples of bad subjects include; "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", "I've got an error!", etc. Examples of good subjects include; "Getting XYZ error upon rendering a video", "Minecraft crashes upon opening."
  11. Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation etc.
  12. The administrators and moderating teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time.
  13. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.
Replay Center Rules
  1. Forum Rules regarding politeness and not posting offensive materials extend to the title and description of any Replay that is uploaded to the Replay Center.
  2. Users are urged to as far as possible use detailed and accurate Replay titles and descriptions. This is so that other players are aware of what they are downloading.
  3. Users are also urged to take thumbnails as far as possible when uploading to the Replay Center. For more information on this, please refer to the documentation.
  4. Users are asked not to upload Replays that would not be of any intrinsic use or interest to other users. The space available to you is limited and we recommend that it is not wasted. Please also be mindful of the impact that this may have on the server and/or forum.
  5. Users are urged to be aware of the privacy of other users and players within the Minecraft Community in general. Posting content that can be considered a breach of their privacy, or that may result in prejudice against that player, is not allowed.
  6. For Supporter or Premium users, please ensure that when linking YouTube videos to your Replays that you link the correct video. Please also ensure that an acceptable amount of footage is being linked to the replay.
  7. Users are asked not to mislead other users by using “clickbait” or other dishonest means to generate views and downloads of your Replay. Players found to consistently disobeying this rule may face consequences on their account.
  8. Please be polite when commenting on other user’s Replays in the Replay Center. Much like you or anyone else that uses this Mod, players just want to share their creations in an environment that does not draw negative criticism.
